Yesterday in Pakistan things went to bad from worse when:
- the Constitution was suspended (including the freedom of speech)
- the police can now detain people without informing them of charges
- the military were deployed to the capital
- the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was replaced
- the independent media was blacked out
- phone lines in Islamabad were cut
- opposition politicians were rounded up
